DeKalb, IL – The Potawatomi Nation wants to open a bingo parlor on land it owns near Shabbona. The tribe claims sovereignty over the land. That would allow it to bypass state and local restrictions on opening a gaming facility. But the U-S government refutes that claim. WNIJ's Guy Stephens reports:
