Cindy Lynn Ostergard

Cindy Lynn Ostergard is the Director of Northern Illinois Radio Information Service (NIRIS), which provides local newspaper reading to the print-impaired.  Since 2000, she’s the person who recruits and schedules volunteer readers, distributes listener receivers and organizes the NIRIS program schedule.  If you’d like to read for - or receive - the service, please call or e-mail her with your interest.  Cindy Lynn’s interests include dog rescue and reading mysteries.  One of her favorite quotes is from former First Lady Barbara Bush:  “Some people give time, some money, some their skills and connections, some literally give their life’s blood.  But everyone has something to give.”
