Diane Drake

Diane Drake loved radio as a kid, lived it at Southern Illinois University, and considers herself fortunate to still be part of the industry all these years later – especially now, in listener-supported public radio.  As WNIJ / WNIU Communications & Events Manager, Diane digs into a mixed bag of projects, from volunteer recruitment and station event coordination to various writing, design, and audio productions.  Connecting with interesting listeners, passionate volunteers, newsletter-subscribers, and community partners makes every day on the job different, rewarding, and fun.  Only a gig as Chicago White Sox Organist would possibly be more enticing.
