50th Anniversary Of The March On Washington

Later today, 89.5 WNIJ will present special coverage of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington. Here & Now will devote a significant portion of the show to the day's events, and we'll have special NPR coverage between 1pm and 3pm Wednesday. Here & Now's Robin Young and Jeremy Hobson will be our hosts. They'll be joined in the studio by NPR's Senior Washington Editor Ron Elving and Princeton professor Julian Zelizer. Reporting from the National Mall will be Hansi Lo Wang of NPR's Code Switch Team, NPR reporter Allison Keys, and White House correspondent Ari Shapiro.

Speakers scheduled to speak between 1pm and 2pm include:
