89.5 WNIJ is proud to support Anderson Japanese Gardens Opening Day Celebration. It all happens Saturday, May 3, 10 am - 3 pm at the gardens, 318 Spring Creek Road in Rockford.
Opening Day brings family and friends together to enjoy Japanese cultural activities in the unique, peaceful setting of the Anderson Japanese Gardens. Create original Oragami folded paper art. Try your hand at Calligraphy. Spin Japanese Tops. See Raku pottery demonstrations and display. And, marvel at the collection of Bonsai trees.
