The application period for Illinois medical marijuana dispensaries and cultivation centers ended today.
Applications were accepted fromSeptember 8 until 3:00 PM on September 22. The number of applications that the state received will likely be announced later this week.
Patients and caregivers with last names starting with the letters "A" through "L" can still apply until October 31.
Those with last names beginning with "M" through "Z" can apply between November 1 and December 31. Starting on January 1, 2015, any qualifying patient/caregiver can apply.
