Biden Says Trump Policies, Actions Hurt America's Credibility

Joe Biden on Facebook

President Trump is eroding America’s credibility around the world by pulling out of agreements, former Vice President Joe Biden told the nonpartisan Chicago Council on Global Affairs on Wednesday.

Biden hit on Trump’s foreign policy moves -- everything from pulling out of the Paris climate agreement to trying to dismantle the nuclear agreement with Iran and not being tough enough on North Korea and Russia.

“Among the many problems plaguing this administration's foreign policy in my view, behind ideological incoherence, is an unwillingness or inability to solve problems,” he said.

Biden also is no fan of Trump’s tweets.

“We’ve got to stop this tweeting,” he said. “It’s childish. It’s time to grow up and act like a world leader.”

Biden has been mentioned as a possible presidential candidate in 2020 but he did not talk about his own political future during the Chicago stop.
