WNIJ news – Bill Brady has conceded the tight race for Illinois governor. The Republican nominee made the announcement during a Friday afternoon speech from his hometown of Bloomington. Brady's campaign had been hoping absentee and other ballots would help the state Senator overcome Pat Quinn's slim lead of more than 19-thousand votes. But, Brady acknowledged Friday it would be impossible to defeat the Democratic governor.
