Calderón To Keynote World Leaders Forum In Elgin

Former Mexican President Felipe Calderón will keynote Judson University's fifth annual World Leaders Forumnext spring. Calderón served as president of Mexico from 2006 to 2012. According to a news release, he will speak in March about the changing global economy at two events – a community event at Judson University in Elgin and a VIP reception later that night in Chicago.

In its first four years, the World Leaders Forum was keynoted by President George W. Bush, former Russian President Mikhail Gorbachev, UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, and former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, respectively. 

There will be limited seating available for the community event.  Judson students, faculty, staff and alumni will be given first priority until November 3, when the general public will be able to purchase tickets.
