Curl Trial Won't Begin Until Early Next Year

NIU

The trial of the man accused of killing a Northern Illinois University Student will now begin in mid-January. The DeKalb County Circuit Clerk's Office says the new start date for William Curl's trial was approved by a judge Friday.

Authorities have accused Curl of killing freshman art student Antinette "Toni" Keller in October 2010. She was reported missing shortly before her burned remains were found in a park near campus.

The original start date for Curl's trial was December 3rd.
