Dixon Strike Ends After Early Morning Negotiations

Dixon Athletics

Teachers in Dixon will head back to class. The school board and teacher's union reached agreement on a four-year contract early Wednesday morning. Classes will resume Wednesday and students will begin standardized testing by the end of this week.

According to the district's website,  the specific details of the contract will be made available after the teachers ratify and the Board approves the tentative agreement.  The DEA plans to ratify the agreement on Monday, March 18, and the Board of Education will approve the agreement at its March 20 meeting.
