A Dozen People Being Monitored For Ebola In Illinois

Twelve people in Illinois are being monitored for possible exposure to Ebola. The Chicago Tribune reports they are not being quarantined and are considered at low to medium risk.

They have to monitor their temperatures and report daily to state health officials. The state health department proposes creating a fund to cover salaries of medical workers who are quarantined after treating patients with Ebola. That way, they won't have to use up their sick leave or vacation days.
