It's been a century since the first military action of World War I. Classical WNIU and Midway Village Museum invite you to step back inside that era for two days of "living history," April 12th and 13th -- from 11 to 5 Saturday and 11 to 4 Sunday.
This amazing World War I event features re-enactors portraying soldiers from the United States, France, Great Britain, Belgium, Russia, Germany and Austria-Hungary. You can walk near encampments, learn about the equipment, and get a sense of what life was like as a soldier during The Great War, including the various battles and skirmishes around the Village. Indoor displays include weapons and artifacts of the time, vendor booths, plus an opportunity to take unique portraits with an historic backdrop.
