Illinois Counties With 4-Time DUI Offenders

The Illinois Secretary of State's office has released data that show that there are more than 5,000 Illinoisans who were convicted of drunken driving four times and had their licenses revoked.

Those drivers would be eligible to apply for a restricted permit under a new state law. Here's a look at the numbers.

     1. Pope - 6 total offenders - 14 offenders per 10,000 population 
     2. Clay - 17 total offenders - 12.6 offenders per 10,000 population 
     3. Gallatin - 6 total offenders - 11.3 offenders per 10,000 population 
     4. White - 14 total offenders - 9.7 offenders per 10,000 population 
    5. Winnebago 274 total offenders - 9.5 offenders per 10,000 population 
     6. Jersey - 21 total offenders - 9.3 offenders per 10,000 population 
     7. Alexander - 7 total offenders - 9.3 offenders per 10,000 population 
     8. Wayne - 15 total offenders - 9.1 offenders per 10,000 population 
     9. Edwards - 6 total offenders - 9.1 offenders per 10,000 population 
     10. Rock Island - 130 total offenders - 8.9 offenders per 10,000 population
