The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra's annual Arthur D. Montzka Young Artists Concerto Competition has been a proud tradition since 1986, showcasing some of Northern Illinois' finest young artists. Classical WNIU is pleased to invite you to a special performance by this year's winners Saturday, February 22nd at 7:30pm at NIU's Boutell Memorial Concert Hall.
Taking the stage with the Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Colin Choi performs the Piano Concerto in A Minor: 1st movement, by Edvard Grieg. Sean Choi will be the featured pianist for Piano Concerto No. 3: 1st movement, by Sergei Prokofiev. Music by Verdi and Dvo?ák rounds out this exciting program.
