The KSO Spring Concert: Romancing The "Rach"

Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra logo

The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra will soon close its current season in grand fashion with “Romancing the Rach,” Saturday evening, May 4th.

Classical WNIU invites you to DeKalb for the adventure, as the KSO fills the NIU’s Boutell Memorial Concert Hall with the sounds of Rachmaninoff.  Specifically, we’ll hear Piano Concerto No. 2 and Symphonic Dances, Opus 45. "Les Preludes" by Liszt is also on this program you won't want to miss.

Juilliard-trained pianist Miko Kominami joins the orchestra for this very special finale to the KSO’s 2012-2013 Season.  The Kishwaukee Symphony Orchestra is "Romancing The Rach" at 7:30pm, May 4th at Boutell Hall in DeKalb. There are more details on our Events page.
