Rockford, IL – Rockford's On the Waterfront Festival is just a few days away, so we continue our sampler of some of the bands playing on the Left Bank Stage with a look at "Here Come the Mummies." This high-energy funk band out of Nashville wraps up the festival on Sunday night.

The only thing stranger than the name of the band is well, the band. Its members have managed to hide their true identities behind mummy bandages for more than a decade.

WNIJ's Susan Stephens learned that while these mummies can sing in well-enunciated English, they can't talk. And that's why she interviewed "Here Come the Mummies" through their "interpreter," a man who identifies himself only as "Baron von Dumpfvagen."
