Poverty in Illinois

DeKalb, IL – A report based on newly-released Census numbers shows poverty is on the rise in Illinois. Over the past eight years, the number people living in poverty jumped by nearly a quarter million.

WNIJ's Susan Stephens spoke with one of the people behind that report: Amy Rynell is with the Chicago-based Social Impact Research Center.
