Quinn Wants To Delay Budget Address
Illinois Governor Pat Quinn wants to put off his budget address until after the March primary. Lawmakers would have to sign off on the governor's request. The Associated Press reports Quinn wants to delay his budget plan until March 26th. It's scheduled for February 19th.
A spokesperson says the governor wants to use the address to present a 5-year blueprint to provide more "long-term certainty'' for taxpayers.
