Three finalists have been selected in the search for the next Rock Valley College president.
They are:
- Dr. Douglas J. Jensen – He is Assistant Director of Educational Services in the Alabama Department of Commerce, where he promotes economic development throughout the state.
- Dr. Joseph E. Collins – Now Vice President for Academic Affairs at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn, he was Acting Interim President there for 14 months.
- Dr. Trevor A. Kubatzke – He is Vice President of Student Services for Milwaukee Area Technical College.
On campus interviews will be conducted next Monday through Wednesday.
The campus visits will include open community forums from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Student Center Atrium on the main RVC main campus at 3301 North Mulford Road.
Jensen will be introduced on Monday, Collins will visit on Tuesday, and Kubatzke will be presented on Wednesday.
The forums are open to anyone in the community who wishes to attend. The candidate will introduce himself and answer questions from the audience. The sessions will conclude with a meet-and-greet opportunity.
