A 36-year-old Sycamore man found dead early Monday morning in an elevator at the William Brown Building in Rockford was identified.
Yesterday's autopsy determined foul play is not suspected in the death of Nathan Gabriel, but Winnebago County Coroner Sue Fiduccia says the cause of death is still pending further testing.
Fiduccia says it's possible Gabriel had a medical crisis and died.
A call came into the 911 center just after 5 a.m. Monday about the body found in the elevator. Police officials have not said why the man was inside the secure building.
Police investigation into the circumstances of Gabriel's death continues.
