GENERAL PRIMARY ELECTION: February 2, 2010

Last day to register to vote January 5, 2010

Grace Period Registration and Voting:
January 6 - January 19 (deadline may vary between election offices)
If you missed the registration deadline, take two pieces of ID to your County Clerk or Board of Elections office. You will register and vote RIGHT THEN AND THERE.

Absentee Voting:
December 28 - February 1
Call the County Clerk or local Board of Elections and request an absentee ballot. Complete and mail back. It must be postmarked by February 1st. You no longer need a reason nor explanation to vote absentee.

Early Voting:
January 11 - January 28
Registered voters can cast a ballot at the County Clerk or local Board of Elections office OR at designated early voting sites. Voting must be done in person and no reason for voting early is required.
