We wrap up our profile of area Congressional races by looking at the candidates in the Democratic primary for the 17th district, which covers the northwestern section of Illinois.  WNIJ's Victor Yehling has the story:

Republican Congressman Bobby Schilling is unopposed in the March 20 primary, but whoever wins the Democratic nomination will be a serious threat.  There are 3 Democrats running in the 17th District primary - Greg Aguilar, Cheri Bustos and George Gaulrapp.  NIU political scientist Matt Streb says they benefit from a traditionally Democratic district that was made even more Democratic after redistricting.   Streb talks with WNIJ's Dan Klefstad about this contest.
