Classical WNIU Holiday Specials

Throughout December and into the new year, Classical WNIU 90.5 provides the soundtrack to your holiday season. Each Sunday morning in December, Sunday Baroque's Suzanne Bona will play selections from a list of suggested recordings for holiday gift-giving for the classical music lover on your list. We’re celebrating the holidays with a unique performance of music from 17th- and 18th-century Mexico, Peru and Bolivia, including a cantata and three free-standing works by colonial Mexican composer Manuel de Sumaya – works that have not been performed since his lifetime.
