Event Description

Laser Firearms training class will begin with basic handgun familiarization, which includes the 4 Safe Gun Handling Rules. Even though the handguns are laser-only and not capable of firing live ammo, these rules apply to all firearms. In this class, proper grip, sight alignment, sight picture and trigger control will be discussed. Once fundamental gun handling techniques have been established, training with multiple targets, drawing from the holster, decision making, and more advanced training will be taught and practiced. This class is for the beginner student who wants to become familiar with gun handling in a safe, warm environment before transitioning to a real handgun as well as the experienced shooter who wants to hone their skills without the cost of live ammunition. It has been proven that dry fire practice (not using live ammunition) with a firearm will greatly improve your live fire skills.
