Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR): A suicide prevention gatekeeper training that teaches adults how to recognize warning signs, offer hope, and refer youth to life-saving professional care
Workshops are scheduled once enough attendees have submitted for them. The workshops are 8 hours long split in a single session or 2-day sessions of 4 hours each.

Pelvic health concerns are common, but they don't have to be accepted as a normal part of aging. Join two female physical therapists from Pathway Physical Therapy for an informative and supportive discussion about pelvic health, including common conditions, treatment options, and ways to improve your quality of life. This free class is designed to increase awareness, answer questions, and reduce the stigma surrounding pelvic health. All women 60+ are welcome.
Attendees will hear from local agencies and organizations offering senior-focused programs designed to cultivate relationships, encourage meaningful involvement, and foster a greater sense of belonging.

Through expert interviews and an expedition to one of North America's last truly dark skies, the film examines the growing impact of light pollution on our culture — and what we stand to lose when the night sky disappears. This free program runs approximately 56 minutes, not rated, and is made possible through PBS.
Give the Gift of Life! The American Red Cross will be conducting a blood drive at the DeKalb Public Library.
American Red Cross blood donors are critical to ensuring those in need receive relief and care. Right now, we’re urging donors to continue to help us strengthen the blood supply. Donors of all blood types – particularly type O blood donors – are crucial to meeting daily hospital demands.

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own galaxy painting using acrylic paint and simple sponging and spattering techniques to build layers of color, depth, and stars. No art experience necessary — just a willingness to be creative. All supplies provided. This free program is open to ages 10 and up. No registration required.
