About two dozen NIU students rallied today in the center of campus to call for a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war. It was a peaceful gathering as students chanted and sang traditional Palestinians songs. Classes end on Friday with finals scheduled for next week. Their protests have been ongoing since the war began in October. Student anti-war protestors across college campuses nationally have swelled over several weeks as the number of Palestinians killed rises.
