Classical WNIU is pleased to sponsor the next “Classics Series” performance by our very own Rockford Symphony Orchestra, Saturday, February 9th at the Coronado Theater. In a program called "Rhapsody and Reveries," we'll hear how two 26-year-old men, living a century and a continent apart, changed the course of musical history forever.

This weekend on WNIJ's Free-Range Radio, Eric Hradecky talks with the Rockford Symphony Orchestra's Conductor and Music Director Steven Larsen about the upcoming RSO Classics Concert Series. Highlights include a visit from violinist Rachel Barton Pine in November, and the RSO's first-ever full performance of Handel's "Messiah" in March.
