Early Saturday morning, Rockford Police officers responded to the Clock Tower Resort at 7801 E. State for reports of a shooting.
According to a news release from Rockford police, the victim has been identified as 23-year-old Rockford resident, Marcello Brown.
Additionally, several other people sustained apparent gunshot injuries as a result of this incident: two 18-year-old females, both in stable condition; a 19-year-old male in critical condition; a 21-year-old male in critical condition; and a 20-year-old male in stable condition. All are being treated at a local hospital.
