Billy Clem was born in Chicago, raised in southern Missouri, and has lived in the DeKalb/Sycamore area for almost 20 years.
He teaches College Composition, Multiculturalism, and Women's and Gender Studies at Waubonsee Community College, and his writings have appeared in The New Verse News, Counterexample Poetics, and Moon City Review.
When he has free time, Clem enjoys friends, reading, writing, travelling, libraries, the natural world, and WNIJ/WNIU.
