WNIJ news – The man accused in a DeKalb County cold case has pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges. Jack McCullough was arraigned during a court appearance Thursday. Prosecutors also made a request for DNA testing. McCullough's attorney says her client will agree to provide a sample. The next court date in the case is scheduled for September 22nd. McCullogh was arrested back in July for the 1957 murder of Maria Ridulph. The Sycamore girl disappeared while playing outside her home. Her remains were found several months later in JoDaviess County.
