DeKalb County disbursed the first round of property taxes to municipal governments.
The Daily-Chronicle reports local school districts received more than half of the $22 million payout. Community colleges received $1.3 million while the county forest district was given $2.5 million.
In total, the county will distribute $213.3 million in property tax revenue this year.
