DeKalb, IL – One of the worst cases of animal hoarding ever reported took a turn October 23 when the owner, a Rochelle woman, relinquished custody to a DeKalb shelter. WNIJ's Guy Stephens spoke with Tails Humane Society's Carolyn Law. She says resolving ownership often takes weeks or month in these cases. So the quickness of the owners decision was unexpected, but not unwelcome.
