John C. Maynard was born and raised in Zion, Ill.
He completed a bachelor's degree in Honors Biology at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.
John has four decades of experience in medicine and has been affiliated with several hospitals in northern Illinois.
He currently serves as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford and is the senior partner at Rockford Nephrology Associates.
