Rockford, IL – The public debate continues...over whether Gitmo detainees should be transferred to Northwestern Illinois. That could happen...IF the federal government buys the state prison in Thomson. WNIJ's, Mike Moen, spoke with, Thomas Alisankus, a criminal justice professor at Rock Valley College. They discussed safety concerns and other questions surrounding the proposal:
