DeKalb, IL – The film "on the edge" makes its DeKalb debut this weekend (NOV.20). The hour-long documentary focuses on the lives of seven homeless women as they tell the stories of their fall from housing and independence, the traumatic effects on their children and their struggles to escape homelessness.
WNIJ's Guy Stephens spoke with the film's director, NIU Communications Professor Laura Vazquez. The film will be shown at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon (Nov.20) at NIU's Wirtz Hall.
