More than $862,000 is on its way for a road construction project in DeKalb County.
According to a news release from Governor Pat Quinn's office, Perry Road from Haumesser to Waterman Road in southern DeKalb County will be repaved and shoulder work performed for $862,799 by Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake, the lowest of four bidders. The project will be administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
This project is part of the $31 billion Illinois Jobs Now!program.
