Lessons For Rockford In Federal Reserve's 'Industrial Cities Initiative'

Ten industrial cities in the Midwest share lessons in economic recovery in a new report from the Chicago Federal Reserve. 

Although Rockford wasn’t part of the study, authors of “The Industrial Cities Initiative” will present their findings at the University of Illinois School of Medicine at Rockford Thursday evening.

Aurora and Joliet are the two Illinois cities profiled in the Federal Reserve study. 

Thursday's event with Longworth and other researchers begins at 6:00 and is sponsored by Transform Rockford and the Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce. Tickets are required, but they're free through Transform Rockford's website.
