Metra Settlement With CEO Cost Taxpayers $1.3 Million

Metra

The costs from Metra's settlement with its former CEO cost taxpayers $1.3 million.

Metra released the information today. Over half of the money was paid to outside attorneys.

The rest of the money went to former CEO Alex Clifford in salary, accrued time off, medical insurance, relocation expenses, and attorney's fees.

Clifford has alleged he was fired because he resisted political pressure.
