Peter Carroll was born and raised in Woodstock/Bull Valley. His family has been living in McHenry County for five generations.
He has been practicing law for 33 years in Woodstock as a solo general practitioner, handling real estate transactions, divorce cases, misdemeanors, etc.
Before law school, Peter received a Master’s Degree in vocal performance from the University of Illinois and uses that talent to sing in choirs. He also enjoys sailing, reading, playing bridge and working Sudoku puzzles.
Peter and his wife Catherine have two grown children -- David teaches middle and high school choral music in rural far-western Virginia; Diana, an Episcopal priest, is Rector of a thriving small parish in Annapolis, Md. – and two grandchildren.
