Susan Fumo is the Executive Director of School Improvement for Rockford Public Schools and the Fund Development Chair for Rockford Promise, a program with the goal of providing a free college education for all graduates of Rockford public high high schools.
She earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Northern Illinois University.
Susan has lived in Rockford for 10 years with her husband and four children. She says she doesn't really have any hobbies for a simple reason: "No time."
