Northern Public Radio’s Privacy Policy

Northern Public Radio recognizes that visitors to our sites may be concerned about the information they share with us and how we treat that information. Northern Public Radio is committed to protecting the privacy and security of users of our site. This statement describes our privacy policy.   • Northern Public Radio does not collect personally identifying information from the websites unless you choose to provide that information to us.
  • We may request personal information when you: make a donation to Northern Public Radio; participate in discussion groups, bulletin board, games or surveys; make e-mail transactions; or request additional information.
  • Northern Public Radio does not use “cookies” or other methods of user tracking—except in the Northern Public Radio Discussion Forum. The Discussion Forum uses cookies to store information on your local computer so that you may log in automatically. Should you have your browser set to not store cookies, you will still be able to use the forum. The e-mail address you register with is used only for confirming your registration details and password—and for sending new passwords should you forget yours.

 

Use of Information

  • Information may be used by Northern Public Radio to: process and fulfill your membership requests; manage a contest or game; gather your editorial comments and feedback; contact you for additional information or administrative purposes. Children

  • Visitors between the ages of 13 and 18 must obtain permission from their parents or guardians before participating in any Northern Public Radio on-line activities, or providing any personally identifying information. Visitors under age 13 are asked not to provide personally identifying information. Should Northern Public Radio learn that it has collected such information, it will be removed from our databases as soon as possible.
