Tensions mount in Illinois House over pensions

The Illinois House is divided over a measure that would bring major changes to the state's pension system. The plan was approved by a committee on Tuesday. But it ignited a tense debate on the House floor. 

The governor's overhaul proposal receives an endorsement from the Illinois Chamber of Commerce.

A constitutional amendment for Illinois will appear on the November ballot. The proposed change has to do with increasing pension benefits for public workers.
