16-year-old John Brechon was a shy teen, until he discovered others shared his passion of cubing. A familiar example of cubing is the popular Rubik's Cube puzzle game. But it is much more than that. There are cubes of all shapes and sizes, and for Brechon, it is about beating the clock to solve each puzzle.
"They time your solves and basically whoever has the fastest times wins."
Sounds easy, right? That depends on how skilled the cuber is, and in some tournaments, the cuber must solve the puzzle blindfolded.
